Area Sales Manager

1\. Job Purpose

Manage the sales team, grow sales in the assigned area, build relationships with doctors and hospitals, and achieve the company’s sales targets.

2\. Main Responsibilities

• Achieve Sales Targets: Meet monthly and yearly sales targets. Track sales and stock regularly.
• Manage the Team: Guide, support and motivate Medical Representatives. Work with them in the field regularly.
• Doctor Visits: Meet important doctors and hospitals and help the team build strong relationships.
• Distributor Management: Ensure distributors and stockists place orders, maintain stock and make payments on time.
• Market Updates: Track competitor products, prices and activities. Share important updates with management.
• Promotional Activities: Organize doctor meetings, product promotion activities and medical education programmes.
• Review Performance: Check doctor visits, sales reports and each team member’s performance.
• Solve Problems: Address customer complaints and field issues quickly.

3\. Qualification and Experience

• Education: B.Pharm, B.Sc. or a related degree. An MBA is an advantage.
• Experience: 1–6 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Team Experience: Some experience guiding or managing sales representatives.
• Skills: Good communication, sales planning, problem\-solving and team leadership.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Excel and sales reporting apps.

4\. Working Conditions

This is a field\-based role and requires regular travel in the assigned area. The manager may also attend doctor meetings and company sales reviews.

5\. Customer Relationship: Having and Building Top KOL and Key Accounts Relationship

6\.Territorial Knowledge: Good Knowledge about territory hospital and their Net work

Pay: ₹40,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
