We are seeking an experienced and result\-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations, distributor management, and market expansion initiatives within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in the frozen food industry, established relationships with frozen food distributors, and a solid network within the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés) segment.
This role also encompasses key Senior Sales Manager responsibilities, including regional sales strategy execution, team leadership, distributor development, and market growth initiatives.
- *Sales Team Development \& Management**
- Support recruitment and onboarding of sales team members.
- Conduct training programs and knowledge transfer (KT) sessions for the sales team.
- Allocate approved sales plans, targets, and territories to team members.
- Provide continuous coaching, performance feedback, and field support.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure adherence to company sales processes.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- *Sales Planning \& Execution**
- Create and execute area\-wise and route\-wise sales plans.
- Develop effective market coverage strategies for assigned territories.
- Track sales activities and assess performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Monitor achievement of individual and team sales targets.
- Ensure consistent reporting of sales performance and market intelligence.
- Drive revenue growth through effective territory management and customer acquisition.
- *Distributor \& Channel Management**
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with frozen food distributors.
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure achievement of sales objectives.
- Strengthen distribution networks and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Support distributor profitability and business growth initiatives.
- Ensure product availability and market penetration across assigned regions.
- *HoReCa Business Development**
- Build and maintain relationships with Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, QSRs, and institutional customers.
- Identify new business opportunities within the HoReCa segment.
- Lead key account development and customer retention initiatives.
- Support menu placement, product trials, and business expansion programs.
- *Regional Growth \& Market Expansion**
- Execute regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify new markets, territories, and growth opportunities.
- Support expansion planning and market penetration initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Drive overall sales growth and market share improvement.
- *Performance Management \& Reporting**
- Review sales team performance regularly and implement improvement plans.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across territories and distributors.
- Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and business updates.
- Escalate operational challenges and recommend actionable solutions.
- Ensure achievement of overall business targets and profitability goals.
- *Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA (Sales \& Marketing) preferred.
- 7 to 12 years of sales experience, preferably in the Frozen Food industry.
- Proven experience managing distributor networks and sales teams.
- Strong exposure to HoReCa sales and institutional business development.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving market growth.
