About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail\-oriented Assistant Manager to join our expanding team to support our US based client. You will play a critical role in our daily supply chain operations, writing proposals, and driving overall business growth. This is a dynamic position for a professional who excels in sourcing, negotiation, and proposal management, and who is eager to drive the success of a growing supply chain operations.
Vendor \& Partner Outreach: Initiate direct phone calls with international clients, distributors, manufacturer representatives, and suppliers to establish relationships, negotiate pricing, clarify technical specifications, and expedite order processing.
Strategic Sourcing \& Negotiation: Identify reliable manufacturers and distributors for required goods and services. Negotiate favorable terms, competitive pricing, and contracts to maximize business margins while ensuring supply chain compliance.
Business Growth \& Proposals: Actively contribute to business expansion by preparing and submitting competitive proposals and bids for government and client solicitations.
Technical Sales Support: Assist with technical sales initiatives, bridging the gap between supplier capabilities and specific client requirements.
Procurement Operations: Process purchase orders efficiently, monitor delivery schedules closely, and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Data Management \& Administration: Perform highly accurate data entry, maintaining meticulous records of all purchases, pricing histories, and supplier communications.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA Highly Preferred.
Communication: Exceptional English communication skills (both written and verbal) for seamless daily phone and email collaboration with international suppliers and internal teams.
Skills: Strong negotiation abilities and a proven track record of securing competitive pricing over the phone and via email.
Attributes: High attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and a business\-growth mindset.
Technical Proficiency: Solid computer skills, including fast and accurate data entry, Microsoft Office proficiency, and general tech\-savviness.
