The Assistant Manager – Vendor Relation, will play a key role in strengthening and expanding the vendor network. Working closely with the Vendor Relationship Manager and cross\-functional teams, they will focus on developing strategic partnerships, improving vendor performance, and supporting business growth. This role demands excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a proactive mindset to ensure smooth vendor operations and long\-term engagement.
1\. Assist in managing and nurturing vendor relationships to build trust and long\-term partnerships.
2\. Support the creation and execution of business plans for key vendors.
3\. Collaborate with internal teams on sales target planning and monitor vendor\-wise sales performance.
4\. Track, analyze, and report vendor performance metrics on a periodic basis.
5\. Facilitate issue resolution between internal departments and vendor partners.
6\. Assist in negotiating commercial terms and onboarding new vendors.
7\. Coordinate with pricing, listings, and operations teams to ensure timely execution of vendor tasks.
8\. Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and growth opportunities for existing ones.
1\. Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2\. 3–4 years of relevant experience in vendor management, preferably in e\-commerce or retail.
3\. Proficient in advanced Excel and reporting tools.
4\. Strong communication and relationship\-building skills.
5\. Proven problem\-solving ability with an eagerness to learn and take initiative.
