Assistant Professor – Business Analytics & Data Analysis (Management Courses)

• *Job Summary:**

The Assistant Professor in Data Analysis \& Data Science will be responsible for delivering high\-quality teaching, conducting research, and contributing to academic development in the field of data science, analytics, and related technologies. The role involves mentoring students, developing curriculum, and engaging in scholarly activities.

• *Key Responsibilities:Teaching \& Academic Delivery:**

* Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in

• Data Analysis
• Data Science
• Machine Learning
• Statistics \& Probability
• Big Data Analytics
• Develop and update course materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessments
• Use modern teaching tools and technologies (Python, R, SQL, etc.)
• Guide students in projects, internships, and research work

• *Research \& Publications:**

• Conduct high\-quality research in data science and analytics domains
• Publish research papers in reputed journals (Scopus/SCI/UGC\-listed)
• Apply for research grants and collaborate with industry/academia

• *Curriculum Development:**

• Design and revise curriculum aligned with industry trends
• Introduce emerging topics like AI, Deep Learning, Data Visualization
• Participate in accreditation and academic quality processes

• *Student Engagement \& Mentorship:**

• Mentor students for academic and career development
• Supervise dissertations and capstone projects
• Encourage participation in hackathons, workshops, and competitions

• *Administrative \& Institutional Responsibilities:**

• Participate in departmental meetings and committees
• Assist in organizing seminars, conferences, and workshops
• Contribute to institutional development initiatives

• *Required Qualifications:**

• Master’s degree (M.Tech/M.Sc) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• Ph.D. in relevant discipline **(Preferred)**
• NET/SET qualification as per regulatory requirements

• *Required Skills \& Competencies:**

* Strong knowledge of

• Python, R, SQL
• Machine Learning algorithms
• Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Familiarity with tools like TensorFlow, Hadoop, Spark (preferred)

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹70,000\.00 per month
