Asst . General Manger Machine Shop

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to head our Machine Shop Division in a Steel Casting Foundry.

*Key Responsibilities:**

Overall management of the Machine Shop Division.
Planning and execution of machining production schedules.
Handling CNC Turning, VMC and HMC machining operations.
Knowledge of CNC programming, setting and tooling.
Production planning, manpower allocation and machine utilisation.
Ensure on\-time delivery and achieve production targets.
Monitor machining quality, dimensional accuracy and rejection control.
Improve productivity and optimise machining cycle time.
Control tooling, consumables and machining costs.
Coordinate with Foundry, Quality, Planning and Purchase departments.
Develop and implement process improvements and lean manufacturing practices.
Handle customer technical requirements and machining\-related issues.
Lead, guide and develop the machine shop team.

*Qualification:**

B.E in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

*Experience:**

10–15 years of experience in CNC machining / precision engineering.
Experience in steel casting machining or valve manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of CNC, VMC and HMC operations.
Proven experience in production planning and team management.
Ability to independently manage the complete machine shop.

Pay: ₹65,000\.00 \- ₹75,000\.00 per month
