Job Summary
The Audit Executive – Interior Projects is responsible for conducting project audits to ensure compliance with company policies, approved budgets, quality standards, material utilization, and project timelines. The role involves regular site visits, verification of project records, identifying deviations, and submitting audit reports to management.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Audit \& Compliance
- Conduct periodic audits of interior fit\-out and modular projects across sites.
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, BOQs, work orders, and project specifications.
- Monitor adherence to company SOPs, processes, and project execution standards.
- Identify process gaps, non\-compliance issues, and project risks.
Material \& Cost Audit
- Verify material receipts, consumption records, and stock movement at project sites.
- Check material reconciliation reports and identify wastages or shortages.
- Audit vendor bills, subcontractor work orders, and payment\-related documents.
- Ensure project expenses are within approved budgets.
Documentation Audit
- Review project documentation including contracts, purchase orders, work orders, and approvals.
- Verify measurement sheets, billing records, and completion documents.
- Ensure all project\-related records are maintained accurately and updated.
Site Inspection \& Reporting
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare audit observations.
- Verify project progress against planned schedules.
- Highlight delays, quality concerns, and cost overruns to management.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and corrective action recommendations.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Design Teams, Purchase Department, and Accounts Department for audit requirements.
- Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely closure of non\-compliance points.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, Commerce, or related field.
- 2\+ years of experience in project auditing, internal audit, or interior fit\-out projects.
- Experience in interior fit\-outs, modular furniture, commercial, retail, or corporate projects preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of interior project execution processes.
- Knowledge of BOQ, project billing, material reconciliation, and cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and project documentation.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem\-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites regularly.

- Timely completion of project audits.
