We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman (Electrical) to prepare and update electrical drawings for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills and a good understanding of electrical systems and drafting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and modify electrical layouts, single\-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop detailed drawings based on project specifications and engineer inputs.
Coordinate with electrical engineers and project teams for drawing updates and revisions.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and drafting standards.
Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
Assist in preparing as\-built drawings and project documentation.
Requirements
Diploma/ITI/B.E. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in electrical drafting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Knowledge of electrical layouts, lighting systems, power distribution, cable routing, and panel drawings.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience in commercial, industrial, MEP, or construction projects will be an added advantage
