Automation QA Engineer

We’re looking for an **Automation QA Engineer** to design, build, and maintain automated test suites that help us ship reliable software faster. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and manual QA to embed quality into every stage of the delivery pipeline.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable end\-to\-end test automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright
• Write clear, maintainable, and reusable automated tests for web applications and APIs
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and reduce flaky tests
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to review requirements and define test strategies
• Perform API testing and validate backend services
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
• Track, report, and verify defects using tools such as Jira
• Contribute to code reviews for test code and promote automation best practices
• Mentor junior QA engineers and help improve team testing processes

• *Requirements:**

• 5\+ years of experience in software QA, with a strong focus on test automation
• Hands\-on expertise with **Selenium WebDriver or Playwright** (experience with both is a plus)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C\#
• Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Mocha, or Playwright Test
• Solid understanding of the SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
• Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools
• Strong skills in test design, including regression, smoke, integration, and cross\-browser testing
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem\-solving abilities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
