Job Description

Review patient medical records and ensure all necessary information is included for billing.
Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
Record payments received and apply them to the appropriate accounts.
Reconcile payments with bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.
Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.

Provide detailed explanations of charges and assist with resolving any billing disputes.

Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with clients.

Prepare regular reports on billing activities, accounts receivable, and outstanding balances.

Maintain organized records of all billing transactions and correspondence.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits as required.

Ensure billing practices comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

Stay updated on industry trends, billing software, and best practices to improve efficiency.

Participate in training sessions and contribute to the development of billing procedures.
