Job Purpose
To lead and manage the complete Bodyshop operations ensuring premium repair quality, customer satisfaction, productivity, profitability, and compliance with BMW dealership standards, manufacturer guidelines, insurance requirements, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities1\. Operational Management
- Manage day\-to\-day Bodyshop operations including denting, painting, accident repairs, detailing, and vehicle delivery.
- Monitor repair progress and ensure adherence to BMW repair procedures.
- Ensure optimum workshop loading and technician productivity.
- Maintain vehicle turnaround time (TAT) targets.
- Conduct final quality inspections before vehicle delivery.

2\. Customer Satisfaction \& CSI
- Deliver premium customer experience in line with BMW standards.
- Handle customer concerns and escalations professionally.
- Ensure timely repair updates to customers.

3\. Team Leadership
- Lead Bodyshop Advisors, Estimators, Technicians, Painters, and Support Staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Identify training needs and ensure BMW certification compliance.
- Motivate staff to achieve productivity and quality targets.

4\. Financial \& Business Performance
- Achieve Bodyshop revenue and profitability targets.
- Monitor labour efficiency, labour sales, paint material usage, and gross profit.
- Control repair costs, rework, and wastage.
- Review estimates, quotations, and insurance approvals.

5\. Insurance \& Warranty Coordination
- Coordinate with insurance surveyors and claim teams.
- Ensure accurate repair estimates and documentation.
- Monitor claim approval and settlement processes.
- Ensure compliance with BMW warranty and repair standards.

6\. Quality \& Compliance
- Ensure all repairs meet BMW quality requirements.
- Maintain workshop safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
- Ensure compliance with BMW audits and dealership processes.
- Implement Kaizen and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- BMW Body \& Paint Certification preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years experience in Automotive Bodyshop Operations.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Knowledge of BMW DMS, insurance claim process, and workshop management systems. (BMW Group Careers)
