About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious, highly driven, and sales\-oriented Business Development Executive to help expand our client network across India and international markets.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident in networking, lead generation, client communication, negotiation, and most importantly — closing deals. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, pitching technology solutions, and driving revenue growth for the company.
We are specifically looking for someone who is hungry for growth, excellent at sales conversations, capable of handling negotiations professionally, and motivated to bring high\-value domestic as well as international clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation \& Client Acquisition
- Identify and connect with startups, SMEs, founders, corporates, agencies, and business owners
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, WhatsApp, networking, referrals, cold calling, email outreach, and meetings
- Reach out to and acquire international clients for software development, AI solutions, automation, SaaS products, websites, mobile applications, and digital transformation services
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through consistent outbound prospecting
- Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other prospecting tools to identify decision\-makers and high\-potential leads
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities across industries and geographies
Sales \& Closing
- Understand client pain points and recommend suitable digital, AI, automation, ERP, SaaS, or software solutions
- Conduct discovery calls and requirement\-gathering sessions with prospects
- Present company services in a consultative, strategic, and professional manner
- Handle client objections, negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract conversations
- Take ownership of the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
- Work towards monthly revenue targets and business growth goals
- Follow up aggressively and systematically to maximize conversion rates
International Business Development
- Build relationships with clients across the US, UK, Europe, Middle East, Australia, and other international markets
- Identify opportunities on international platforms and marketplaces
- Explore partnerships with agencies, consultants, and strategic partners globally
- Develop outreach campaigns specifically targeted toward international businesses
Upwork \& Marketplace Growth
- Manage and grow the company's Upwork presence
- Identify relevant projects and submit high\-quality proposals
- Maintain proposal pipelines and track conversion metrics
- Help build ZootechX's reputation and project acquisition channels across freelance marketplaces
Data Mining \& Outreach
- Use platforms such as LinkedIn, Clutch, GoodFirms, Crunchbase, Apollo, and similar databases to identify potential prospects
- Build targeted prospect databases aligned with company ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles)
- Execute email outreach campaigns and cold outreach initiatives
- Maintain and update CRM records regularly
Branding \& Content Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create thought leadership content
- Support LinkedIn content initiatives including case studies, client success stories, and industry insights
- Help build founder and company brand visibility through strategic engagement
Reporting \& Process Management
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, opportunities, and conversions
- Provide weekly reports on outreach activities, meetings, pipeline status, and closed deals
- Track KPIs related to lead generation, meetings booked, proposals sent, and revenue generated
- Continuously improve sales processes and outreach strategies

Preferred Background
- Experience in IT services, SaaS, AI solutions, digital products, or technology consulting is a strong advantage

- Prior experience in B2B sales, consultative selling, or international client acquisition will be highly preferred
- Strong confidence in pitching, negotiating, and closing deals
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, Upwork, Apollo, Clutch, or similar platforms is a plus
