D Atelier Furnishings is a premium furnishing and interior solutions division with branches in Cochin, Muvattupuzha and Calicut specializing in high\-quality curtains, blinds, upholstery, wallpapers, soft furnishings, and customized interior products for residential and commercial projects. We focus on delivering exceptional design, quality, and customer experience.
We are looking for an energetic and result\-oriented Business Development \& Sales Officer to expand our customer base, generate new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, builders, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across Calicut and surrounding regions.
Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and corporate clients.
Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and market research.
Develop strategic partnerships to increase brand visibility and sales opportunities.
Sales \& Client Management
Meet potential customers and understand their furnishing requirements.
Present Datlier's products and solutions professionally.
Present Interior project presentations to client and followup with the client.
Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into sales.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Market Development
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Identify new segments and opportunities for business growth.
Participate in exhibitions, events, and promotional activities when required.
Maintain customer records and sales activities using CRM or reporting tools.
Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
Track sales pipeline and project status regularly.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
Experience in interiors, furnishings, furniture, construction, building materials, or related industries is highly preferred.
Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent presentation and relationship\-building abilities.
Self\-motivated with a target\-driven approach.
Ability to work independently and manage field sales activities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Valid driving license preferred.
