This is not a conventional sales position. We are looking for a revenue\-driven Business Development Manager who can build acquisition channels, close high\-value clients, and contribute directly to the company's growth journey.
You will play a key role in expanding our international client base, scaling Upwork operations, building outbound sales systems, and developing a predictable revenue pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition \& Revenue Growth
Drive new business opportunities through Upwork, LinkedIn, referrals, outbound outreach, and inbound leads.
Identify and engage decision\-makers across target industries.
Convert prospects into long\-term, high\-value client relationships and retainers.
Upwork Growth
Build and optimize company presence on Upwork.
Develop winning bidding and proposal strategies.
Target premium international projects and convert them into recurring engagements.
B2B Sales \& Pipeline Management
Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
Maintain CRM records and ensure a healthy sales pipeline.
SaaS \& Product Sales
Promote software, automation, and technology\-driven solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations and follow\-up activities.
Identify new market opportunities and growth segments.
Team Leadership
Guide and manage Business Development interns.
Monitor outreach activities, lead generation efforts, and performance metrics.
Help establish scalable systems and processes for long\-term growth.
Brand Building
Contribute to daily content initiatives focused on business development, sales, client acquisition, and industry insights.
