*Business Development Executive for Water and Waste Water Treatment @ Nagpur**

*2\. Role Summary**

We are looking for a motivated and result\-oriented Business Development Executive to support business growth for an engineering consultancy firm specializing in the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for infrastructure, water supply, sewerage, irrigation, environmental, and urban development projects.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, researching government and private\-sector infrastructure projects, developing client relationships, supporting tender participation, preparing business proposals, and coordinating with internal technical teams to develop client\-specific consultancy proposals.

This position is suitable for a fresher with a Civil Engineering background and an MBA who is interested in infrastructure consultancy, government projects, marketing, and business development.

*4\. Key Roles and Responsibilities**

● Identify potential business opportunities for DPR preparation, feasibility studies, engineering design, project management consultancy (PMC), and other infrastructure consultancy services.

● Research upcoming infrastructure projects related to water supply, sewerage, sewage treatment plants (STPs), water treatment plants (WTPs), irrigation, drainage, roads, and urban infrastructure.

● Identify prospective clients, including government departments, municipal corporations, urban local bodies, development authorities, infrastructure companies, and private\-sector organizations.

● Develop and maintain a database of prospective clients, project opportunities, consultants, contractors, and industry stakeholders.

● Track upcoming projects, consultancy assignments, expressions of interest (EOIs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and tenders through relevant government portals and other reliable sources.

● Assist in lead generation through email campaigns, telephone calls, professional networking, meetings, and industry events.

● Maintain a structured pipeline of business opportunities and follow up with prospective clients.

● Monitor government and private\-sector tender portals for consultancy assignments related to DPR preparation and infrastructure engineering.

● Review tender notices, EOIs, RFPs, and terms of reference to identify relevant business opportunities.

● Assist in preparing technical and financial proposals in coordination with technical and estimation teams.

● Compile company profiles, project credentials, CVs of key personnel, eligibility documents, and other tender\-related information.

● Coordinate the preparation of expressions of interest, prequalification documents, presentations, and consultancy proposals.

● Maintain a tender tracker with submission dates, eligibility requirements, project values, and bid status.

● Assist in preparing bid submission checklists and ensuring that documents are submitted within prescribed deadlines.

● Coordinate with internal teams to obtain technical inputs, cost estimates, project methodologies, and resource requirements for proposals.

*5\. Educational Qualifications**

● BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.

● MBA in Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, or an equivalent specialization.

● Fresh graduates with strong communication, presentation, analytical, and relationship\-building skills are encouraged to apply.

*6\. Experience and Technical Skills**

● Freshers are eligible; prior work experience is not mandatory.

● Internship experience in marketing, business development, tendering, infrastructure consultancy, or project management will be an advantage.

● Exposure to government procurement portals, tender documentation, or infrastructure projects is desirable but not essential.
