Job Description

  • *Job Description – Business Development Executive (BDE)**
  • *Job Summary**

We are looking for a dynamic and results\-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE)

to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, acquiring clients, and building

long\-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the

FinTech and Digital Payments industry, with a proven track record in sales, business

development, and client acquisition. The candidate should be self\-motivated, target\-driven,

and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • *Key Responsibilities**

 Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, field

visits, cold calling, email campaigns, and referrals.

 Generate qualified leads and convert them into long\-term business relationships.

 Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

 Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and payment

solutions.

 Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings.

 Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate commercial terms with clients.

 Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.

 Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates

using CRM tools.

 Conduct regular field visits to meet merchants, channel partners, and prospective clients to

expand business opportunities.

 Provide timely reports on sales activities, market intelligence, and business performance.

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.

 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Acquisition, or Account

Management.

 Prior experience in the FinTech, Digital Payments, Payment Gateway, QR Payments, UPI,

POS Solutions, Banking, or Financial Services industry is mandatory.

 Experience working with organizations such as PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BharatPe,

Razorpay, Pine Labs, PayU, or similar payment and FinTech companies will be an added

advantage.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.

 Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship\-building skills.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

 Self\-driven, target\-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively

within a team.

 Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and field sales activities.

 Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

 Number of new merchant/client acquisitions.

 Revenue generated from new and existing clients.

 Lead conversion ratio.

 Client retention and relationship management.

 Pipeline growth and business expansion.

 Timely reporting and CRM data accuracy.
