We are looking for an energetic, confident, and highly motivated Business Development Executive to support outreach, partnerships, and lead generation initiatives for a leading higher education and career advancement ecosystem.
The role involves representing industry\-oriented learning and upskilling programs offered through our upGrad Learning Center and building relationships with colleges, universities, training institutes, corporates, and referral partners.
This is a field\-based role and is ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting people, conducting outreach activities, building partnerships, organizing seminars, and generating growth opportunities through on\-ground engagement.
The selected candidate will play a key role in expanding awareness, developing partnerships, generating student leads, and strengthening the presence of upGrad programs across the region.
- *Educational Institution Outreach**
- Visit colleges, universities, coaching centers, training institutes, and educational organizations.
- Meet Principals, Placement Officers, Career Counselors, and Department Heads.
- Establish partnerships for student engagement activities.
- Coordinate career guidance sessions, seminars, and workshops.
- Generate student leads and referrals.
- *Business Development \& Lead Generation**
- Identify and develop new lead sources.
- Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups.
- Promote education and career development programs to prospective learners.
- Generate qualified leads through field activities and networking.
- *Partnership Development**
- Develop relationships with coaching centers, training institutes, education consultants, and other referral partners.
- Explore collaboration opportunities that support student acquisition and brand awareness.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners.
- Visit companies and corporate offices to explore employee upskilling and professional development opportunities.
- Build relationships with HR and Learning \& Development teams.
- Support corporate engagement initiatives.
- Represent the organization at education fairs, career fairs, seminars, workshops, and promotional events.
- Conduct on\-ground promotional activities and awareness campaigns.
- Support local marketing initiatives and outreach programs.
- *Reporting \& Coordination**
- Maintain records of daily visits, meetings, and leads generated.
- Submit regular activity reports.
- Coordinate with the counselling team for lead follow\-up and admissions support.
