About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result\-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead institutional sales, strategic partnerships, and business expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in B2B sales, revenue generation, client relationship management, and team leadership.
The BDM will be responsible for managing Business Development Associates/Executives (BDA/BDE), driving strategic partnerships, and achieving organizational revenue targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesB2B Sales \& Strategic Partnerships
- Lead and drive B2B sales initiatives across corporates, educational institutions, and training partners.
- Identify, approach, and onboard high\-value business clients.
- Develop strategic partnerships to increase revenue and market reach.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Identify new market opportunities and create business expansion strategies.
Team Management \& Leadership
- Manage and mentor BDA/BDE teams to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Monitor team productivity, conversion metrics, and overall performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions, reviews, and performance discussions.
- Set KPIs and sales targets while ensuring accountability across the team.
- Support team members during high\-value client meetings and negotiations.
Influencer \& Partnership Collaborations
- Build and manage strategic collaborations with influencers, content creators, and industry partners.
- Track lead generation, engagement metrics, and campaign performance.
- Develop and maintain long\-term relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Relationship Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and partnership activities.
- Ensure smooth post\-sales coordination and client satisfaction.
Internal Coordination \& Reporting
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Training teams for seamless execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, and forecasting reports.
- Track revenue targets, KPIs, and business growth metrics.
- Provide regular performance updates and strategic reports to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, or Institutional Sales.
- Prior experience managing sales or business development teams.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client\-handling abilities.
- Comfortable with outbound business development through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EdTech, Training, Learning \& Development, or SaaS industries.
- Experience handling institutional partnerships and strategic alliances.
