Business Development Manager (BDM)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced **Business Development Manager** to drive business growth in the Defence, Aerospace, and Manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding, industry connections, and proven experience in developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and supporting engineering\-led sales initiatives.

The candidate should be capable of identifying new opportunities, handling techno\-commercial discussions, coordinating with engineering teams, and driving projects from enquiry to order closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier\-1 suppliers, government organizations, and strategic customers.
• Generate leads through customer visits, networking, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Handle end\-to\-end sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
• Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Manage RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, tender submissions, and techno\-commercial negotiations.
• Support Localization and New Product Development (NPD) projects by coordinating with customers and internal teams.
• Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, plant visits, and project review meetings.
• Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, pipeline reports, and weekly/monthly MIS reports.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives.

Required Qualification

• **B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering** (Preferred)
• MBA in Marketing / Business Development is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹40,000\.00 per month
