OpExWorks Solutions Pvt. OpExWorks specializes in digitizing manufacturing, supply chain, quality, maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement processes through its cloud\-based SaaS platform.
We are seeking a dynamic and results\-oriented Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive business growth and expand OpExWorks' presence within the manufacturing and automotive sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and promoting digital transformation solutions to industrial customers.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing, automotive, and industrial sectors.
· Generate leads through networking, market research, and client outreach.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturing companies, and key stakeholders.
· Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations.
· Prepare proposals, commercial offers and business presentations.
· Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
· Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and project execution.
· Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and business development reports.
· Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets.
· BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MBA in Marketing, Operations, or Business Management or related field.
· 4–5 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales or Industrial Sales.
· Strong understanding of software systems, SaaS platforms, or enterprise applications.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Fluency in English, Marathi, and Hindi.
· Prior experience in Automotive, Manufacturing, Industrial Software, Consulting, Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, or Industry 4\.0 solutions.
· Familiarity with APIs, SaaS products, CRM tools, or enterprise software solutions.
· Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and business planning skills.
