Position: CAD Engineer Reporting Manager: CAD Technical Manager Location: Mumbai Job Summary: We are seeking a detail\-oriented CAD Engineer to join AVTEL India and support the design and execution of ELV / low\-voltage system projects. The role involves preparing accurate 2D/3D CAD drawings, system layouts, shop drawings, and as\-built documentation for solutions such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, BMS, and structured cabling systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AutoCAD, drafting standards, and coordination with project execution, design, and engineering teams to ensure drawings meet client specifications, industry standards, and project timelines. The CAD Engineer will play a key role in design optimization, technical documentation, BOQ support, and project coordination, ensuring seamless implementation of smart building and security infrastructure solutions. Job Responsibilities: **Hands\-on experience in AutoCAD to design/draft 2D drawings (In\-depth working knowledge of Auto CAD up to date).** Review original drawings, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation from the case received in (CDM) NetSuite. **Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings pertaining to the Electronic Security Systems \& Solutions.** Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, as per specifications provided by the Sales / Projects Team of AVTEL Group. **Maintain notes, design calculations, and other documentation (like drawings, bill of materials, list of design parameters, and performance guarantees) for future reference.** Serve as an information source on planning and design of equipment installations.
