Centre for Industry 4\.0 (C4i4\) is supporting a government\-led initiative to accelerate digital transformation and Industry 4\.0 adoption across manufacturing MSMEs in the Union Territory of Dadra \& Nagar Haveli and Daman \& Diu.
We are looking for an experienced **Chemical Engineer** with strong hands\-on experience in the **Chemical Manufacturing Industry** to conduct digital maturity assessments, identify digitalization opportunities, and guide manufacturing enterprises on their Industry 4\.0 journey.
- Engage with MSME owners, plant heads, and senior management to explain the digitalization initiative and its benefits.
- Schedule and conduct plant visits and stakeholder meetings.
- Obtain Expressions of Interest (EOI) from participating enterprises.
- Conduct on\-site digital maturity assessments using C4i4's software\-based assessment platform.
- Study manufacturing processes, production systems, quality practices, maintenance activities, and business operations.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for digitalization across manufacturing and support functions.
- Evaluate adoption potential for technologies such as ERP, MES, SCADA, IoT, data analytics, automation, and Industry 4\.0 solutions.
- Prepare assessment reports and recommendations.
- Coordinate with project teams and government stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 7–15 years of experience in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry.
- **Retired professionals from the Chemical Manufacturing Industry with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.**
- Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, plant operations, production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation.
- Willingness to travel across industrial clusters in the region.
- Experience in digital transformation, Industry 4\.0, manufacturing automation, process improvement, operational excellence, MES, ERP, SCADA, DCS, or related initiatives.
- Experience in consulting, audits, assessments, manufacturing excellence, or plant leadership roles.
- Own vehicle and valid driving licence.
A proactive Chemical Engineering professional who combines deep manufacturing knowledge with an understanding of digital technologies and can effectively engage with industry leaders to drive digital transformation initiatives.

Pay: ₹60,000\.00 \- ₹100,000\.00 per month
