CNC / VMC Programmer

• *Department:** Production – Machine Shop
• *Reports To:** Plant Head / Operations Head

• *Job Purpose**To lead CNC/VMC programming, setup, process development, and production support to meet quality, productivity, delivery, and cost targets.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Develop/edit CNC/VMC programs; manage setup, tooling, prove\-out, and process parameters.
• Lead NPD, process planning, prototype machining, trials, and sample submission.
• Interpret drawings, GD\&T, and customer specifications.
• Optimize cycle time, tool life, productivity, and machining costs.
• Guide operators and coordinate with Quality, PPC, Stores, and Maintenance.
• Coordinate first\-piece inspection, process compliance, and corrective actions.
• Maintain programs, setup sheets, tooling records, and production documentation.

Drive process improvement, machine safety, and 5S.

• *Qualifications \& Experience**

• *Education:** Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or relevant engineering discipline.
• *Experience:** 8–10 years in CNC/VMC programming, setup, process development, and production coordination.
• *Key Skills:** CNC/VMC programming, machining process planning, drawing/GD\&T, tooling, NPD, production coordination.
