Stores & Material Control Executive

• *Department:** Stores \& Material Control
• *Reports To:** Plant Head / Operations Head

• *Job Purpose**

To manage receipt, storage, inventory, issue, and dispatch while ensuring accurate stock records, traceability, and uninterrupted production support.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Receive raw materials, bought\-out components, tooling, and consumables against purchase orders.
• Verify quantities, identification, and documents; coordinate incoming inspection with Quality.
• Prepare GRNs and update ERP/Excel stock records promptly.
• Issue materials against approved requirements and maintain issue records.
• Monitor stock, minimum/reorder levels, and shortages.
• Maintain storage, identification, lot traceability, FIFO, and material preservation.
• Control of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, tooling, and consumables.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and PPC.
• Conduct physical inventory and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Maintain material issue slips, stock reports, and inventory records.
• Control scrap, rejected, excess, and obsolete inventory with authorization.
• Support packing, dispatch documentation, and finished goods handover.

Maintain safe handling, cleanliness, and 5S.

• *Qualifications \& Experience** **Education:** Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or relevant engineering discipline.
• *Experience**: 2–5 years in manufacturing stores, inventory management, and material control.
• *Key Skills:** Inventory control, ERP/Excel, GRN, FIFO, stock reconciliation, traceability, production coordination.
