Role Summary
We’re looking for a D2C Retention Marketer who is passionate about enhancing customer loyalty and engagement. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in user lifecycle marketing to drive retention strategies and improve customer lifetime value.
Success in This Role (6–12 Months)
- Achieve a repeat purchase rate increase of at least 15% through targeted retention campaigns. (Repeat purchase rate)
- Successfully implement and optimize at least three new customer communication flows, including post\-purchase and abandoned cart strategies. (Number of optimized flows)
- Enhance customer lifetime value (LTV) by 10% through effective cohort analysis and targeted marketing efforts. (Customer lifetime value (LTV))
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Own and execute retention marketing strategies across email, SMS, and WhatsApp to drive customer engagement.
- Design and implement customer lifecycle campaigns, focusing on post\-purchase journeys and abandoned cart recovery.
- Conduct cohort analysis to track repeat rates and inform marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop engaging retention\-focused materials.
- Utilize marketing automation tools like MoEngage or CleverTap to optimize campaign performance.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)Must\-Have
- 1–4 years of experience in retention or user lifecycle marketing.
- Proficiency in MoEngage, WebEngage, CleverTap, QuickEngage, or Klaviyo.
- Experience with WhatsApp marketing, including flows, broadcasts, and segmentation.
- Demonstrated ability in executing email and SMS campaigns.
- Experience in D2C marketing or working with a D2C agency.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cohort analysis and tracking repeat rates.
Important
- Experience in the Health, Wellness, Nutraceutical, or Ayurveda categories.
- Worked across multiple D2C clients on the agency side.
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and cohort models.
- Ability to create compelling content for retention campaigns.
- Experience in designing post\-purchase journeys and checkout flows.
- Knowledge of RTO and delivery communication strategies.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with AI tools for marketing optimization.
- Basic understanding of D2C unit economics.
- Experience with prepaid order campaigns.
