Data Entry Operator

A hospital in Vijayawada is seeking a detail\-oriented Data Entry Operator to assist with preparing and processing patient discharge summaries. Candidates with 0 to 3 years of experience are welcome to apply. The selected candidate will ensure accurate data entry, maintain patient documentation, and coordinate with the medical and administrative teams to support timely discharge procedures.

Qualifications

• Intermediate or a graduate degree; relevant computer or data\-entry training is preferred.
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience; freshers may apply.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
• Good typing speed with accuracy in spelling, grammar, and data entry.
• Ability to understand medical terminology and hospital documentation is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update patient information accurately in the hospital information management system.
• Prepare, format, and process discharge summaries based on documentation provided by authorized medical professionals.
• Verify patient details, admission information, investigation records, and discharge documentation for completeness.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, medical records, and billing departments to obtain required information.
• Follow up on pending discharge summaries to support timely patient discharge.
• Identify missing information or discrepancies and report them to the concerned department for clarification.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical records as applicable.
• Ensure patient information is handled confidentially and securely.
• Follow hospital documentation procedures, data\-entry standards, and administrative policies.

Pay: ₹12,000\.00 \- ₹20,000\.00 per month
