Job Summary
The Deputy Manager / Manager – Projects \& Maintenance will be responsible for leading showroom projects from planning to execution while ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards. The role includes managing fit\-outs, interiors, MEP services, maintenance operations, vendor coordination, and compliance activities across showroom locations. The incumbent will also oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance, coordinate with internal stakeholders, architects, consultants, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities1\. Project Planning \& Execution
- Lead end\-to\-end execution of new showroom projects, renovations, and refurbishment activities.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor fit\-out works including interiors, civil works, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical \& Plumbing), security systems, and branding installations.
- Ensure project completion as per approved drawings, technical specifications, timelines, and allocated budgets.
- Monitor day\-to\-day project progress, identify project risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal departments for smooth project implementation.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work quality, safety, and compliance standards are maintained.
2\. Maintenance Management
- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance activities across showrooms and facilities.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, security systems, and other infrastructure\-related facilities.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely maintenance support and issue resolution.
- Maintain AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) schedules and monitor service quality.
3\. Vendor \& Commercial Management
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for project and maintenance requirements.
- Handle vendor negotiations, work orders, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), invoicing, and payment coordination.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, commercial compliance, and documentation processes.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely completion.
4\. Coordination \& Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with building owners, landlords, and external stakeholders regarding showroom\-related requirements.
- Support legal and documentation requirements related to projects, rental agreements, approvals, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Admin, IT, Procurement, Finance, and Branding departments.
5\. Review, Reporting \& Team Management
- Conduct periodic showroom visits to review project progress and maintenance status.
- Prepare project status reports, maintenance reports, budgets, and updates for management review.
- Organize review meetings and ensure action closure within timelines.
- Train and guide team members, contractors, and support staff to maintain operational standards.

Educational Qualification
- **Degree / Diploma in Engineering** (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) or any relevant technical field.
Experience
- **4 to 8 years** of relevant experience in **Projects \& Maintenance**, preferably in **Retail / Jewellery / Showroom / Infrastructure Projects**.
Preferred Industry
- Retail / Jewellery / Fashion / FMCG / Commercial Infrastructure / Real Estate
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel for showroom visits and project monitoring.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple site operations.
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹60,000\.00 \- ₹70,000\.00 per month
