Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth functioning of IT systems and infrastructure.

Location : Bhopal

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows operating systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, LAN and connectivity\-related issues.
• Provide support for MS Office, Outlook, Teams and other business applications.
• Manage user accounts, password resets and access\-related issues in Active Directory.
• Handle desktop/laptop imaging, formatting, software installation and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot VPN, Wi\-Fi, LAN and remote connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and update asset allocation records.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests within SLA.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors for issue resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, troubleshooting and resolutions.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Hands\-on experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365\.
• Understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Knowledge of printers, scanners and other IT peripherals.
• Good communication and customer\-handling skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 1–5 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Helpdesk / End User Support.
• Customer\-focused with good problem\-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.

Pay: ₹300,000\.00 \- ₹380,000\.00 per year
