Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage server\-related activities, application installations, system migrations, software implementation, and deployment processes. The candidate will work closely with development and technical teams to ensure smooth application implementation, reliable server operations, and efficient troubleshooting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers and hosting environments.
• Handle server, application, and database migration from existing environments to new servers or hosting platforms.
• Install, configure, and maintain applications, software packages, dependencies, and required server tools.
• Implement applications and software solutions in client and production environments.
• Coordinate with developers to support application deployment, configuration, debugging, and technical issue resolution.
• Deploy application updates, patches, and new releases across development, testing, and production environments.
• Support database installation, migration, backup, restoration, and connectivity configuration.
• Configure and manage domains, DNS, SSL certificates, web servers, access permissions, and environment variables.
• Monitor server performance, application availability, and system health, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain regular backups and support data recovery and disaster recovery procedures.
• Automate repetitive server administration, deployment, and maintenance tasks using scripts and DevOps tools.
• Apply server security updates, manage user access, and follow infrastructure security practices.
• Maintain documentation for server configurations, application installations, migration activities, and implementation procedures.
• Collaborate with development and technical teams to ensure smooth application deployment and reliable server operations.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Linux server administration and hosting environments.
• Understanding of server setup, application deployment, migration, installation, and implementation.
• Familiarity with web servers such as Nginx and Apache.
• Knowledge of databases, networking, DNS, domains, and SSL certificates.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of server security, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and other DevOps tools will be an advantage.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Relevant practical experience in server administration, application deployment, migration, or DevOps activities.

Pay: ₹20,000\.83 \- ₹30,000\.04 per month
