Job Description
- Lead complete mechanical project execution activities for DRI plant expansion/new projects.
- Supervise erection, installation, commissioning, stabilization, and performance improvement of plant equipment.
- Ensure achievement of targeted production capacity within defined timelines.
- Drive improvements in plant availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor project execution with strong focus on safety, quality, cost control, and schedule adherence.
- Implement best practices related to safety, 5S, preventive maintenance, and environmental compliance.
- Coordinate with consultants, OEMs, contractors, vendors, and internal departments for smooth project execution.
- Review engineering drawings, layouts, technical specifications, BOQs, and commissioning plans.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, resources, and project materials.
Lead shutdown planning, troubleshooting, equipment alignment, and commissioning support activities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, energy optimization, and equipment performance enhancement.Support digitization initiatives, MIS reporting, and implementation of monitoring systems for project and maintenance activities.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.Prepare project progress reports, budgets, execution plans, and management presentations.- *Key Equipment Exposure:**
