The **Digital Workplace Solutions Client Integration Architect** is responsible for ensuring seamless integration of Device Subscription Services (DSS) and Device\-as\-a\-Service (DaaS) into client environments, enabling a fully functional, end\-user device lifecycle experience.
This role bridges the gap between client IT ecosystems and Unisys DSS capabilities, ensuring that all required systems, processes, data flows, and governance models are successfully integrated. The architect ensures that DSS and DaaS operates as cohesive services across procurement, provisioning, asset management, financial management, support, and disposal.
Success in this role means
- DSS is fully embedded into the client’s IT and business ecosystem with minimal friction
- All integration points (tools, data, workflows, suppliers) operate reliably and at scale
- Client\-specific requirements are translated into standardized, repeatable DSS integration patterns
- Implementation timelines are reduced through reuse of integration frameworks and accelerators
- Risks related to data, process, or tool misalignment are proactively mitigated
- Tools are accessed to ensure they are implemented using best in\-class solutions based on capabilities
The DWS Client Integration Architect works closely with Solution Managers, Solution Architects, Delivery teams, and Client stakeholders to design and implement integration models for DSS adoption.
- *Integration Design \& Architecture**
- Define end\-to\-end **integration architecture** for DSS within client environments
- Map client systems (ITSM, HR, Finance, Procurement, Asset Management, Device Management) to DSS and DaaS processes
- Design **data flows, APIs, and system interfaces** required for DSS operations
- Establish integration patterns for:
+ Order\-to\-provision workflows
+ Asset and configuration data synchronization
+ Incident, service request, and support processes
+ Billing, chargeback, and financial tracking
- *Client Environment Alignment**
- Assess client IT landscape, tooling, and process maturity
- Identify gaps between current state and DSS operating model
- Define required changes to client processes, policies, and governance
- Ensure DSS aligns with client compliance, security, and regulatory requirements
- *Implementation \& Delivery Support**
- Support solutioning and deal phases with integration designs and effort estimates
- Work with delivery teams to ensure integration requirements are implemented correctly
- Define **integration runbooks, workflows, and operational procedures**
- Validate integration readiness prior to go\-live
- *Standardization \& Reusability**
- Develop **standard integration blueprints and reference architecture** for DSS
- Create reusable assets such as:
+ Integration patterns (API, batch, event\-driven)
+ Data models and mapping templates
+ Interface specifications and documentation
- Drive consistency across regions and clients
- *Stakeholder Collaboration**
* Act as the primary integration interface between
+ Client IT and enterprise architecture teams
+ Unisys solutioning and delivery teams
+ OEMs, suppliers, and ecosystem partners
- Facilitate workshops to define integration requirements and solution approaches
- Translate complex integration topics into clear, business\-aligned language

- Identify and mitigate integration risks early in the lifecycle
- Ensure proper data governance, ownership, and quality controls
- Define SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics for integration performance
- Support ongoing service improvements based on operational insights

- Identify opportunities to improve DSS integration efficiency through:
+ Automation
+ API standardization
+ Platform consolidation
- Incorporate lessons learned into future solution designs
- Support evolution of DSS integration capabilities aligned to market needs
- Drive cost\-effective DSS integration design and delivery
- Improve DSS effectiveness, deployment times, and maintenance by enabling AI capabilities
- *You will be successful in this role if you have:**
- *Skills and Qualifications**
- *Experience \& Knowledge**
- 5–10 years of experience in **IT architecture, system integration, or enterprise solutions**
- Strong experience with **ITSM, asset management, and enterprise platforms** (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Helix, SAP, etc.)
- Proven experience designing and implementing **system integrations and data flows**
- Experience in **device lifecycle or managed workplace services** preferred
- Understanding of **ITIL processes** (especially Service Design, Service Transition, and Service Integration)
- Experience in creating **high\-level design (HLD)** and **low\-level design (LLD)** documents and workflows
- *Technical \& Functional Skills**
