We are seeking a skilled Electrician with 2–5 years of experience in the shipbuilding or marine industry. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems onboard vessels and in shipyard projects.
*Key Responsibilities:**
Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment onboard ships.
Perform cable laying, glanding, termination, and panel wiring.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in systems and machinery.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and marine regulations.
Work on lighting systems, switchboards, motors, and control panels.
Assist in commissioning and testing of electrical systems.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other departments.
*Requirements:**
ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or marine projects.
Knowledge of marine electrical systems and safety practices.
Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents.
Familiarity with tools, testing instruments, and electrical components.
Basic understanding of international standards (ABS, DNV, etc.) is an advantage.
