Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result\-oriented Export Sales Executive to expand our international business and manage export sales activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new overseas markets, developing customer relationships, generating export orders, coordinating shipments, and achieving sales targets while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and develop new international markets and business opportunities.
- Generate export sales through distributors, importers, wholesalers, and direct customers.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients.
Sales \& Customer Management
- Handle inquiries from international customers and provide timely quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and sales contracts.
- Follow up on leads and convert them into business opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual export sales targets.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.
Export Documentation \& Coordination
- Coordinate with logistics, production, and documentation teams for timely order execution.
- Ensure preparation of export documents such as:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Shipping Instructions
- Export Declarations
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers.
Market Expansion
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business meetings.
- Develop strategies for market penetration and business growth.
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
Compliance \& Reporting
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and sales management systems.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA in International Business or Marketing is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Export Sales, International Marketing, or International Business Development.
- Experience in handling overseas customers and export documentation is preferred.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Knowledge of export procedures and international trade regulations.
- Understanding of Incoterms, Letters of Credit (LC), and international payment methods.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
