Field Network Engineer

A Field Network Engineer is a hands\-on IT professional responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware and infrastructure on\-site at client locations or remote facilities. They bridge the gap between high\-level network design and physical execution by deploying routers, switches, and cabling while ensuring continuous connectivity.

• **Troubleshooting \& Repair:** Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software errors on\-site.
• **Cabling \& Infrastructure:** Run, terminate, and test Ethernet and fiber optic cables, ensuring neat and compliant rack organizations.
• **Network Monitoring:** Evaluate network performance using diagnostic tools to identify latency, packet loss, or configuration issues.
• **Site Surveys:** Conduct physical walkthroughs at client sites to plan optimal placements for Wi\-Fi access points and cabling runs.
• **Documentation:** Maintain accurate logs of hardware installations, network diagrams, and site\-specific troubleshooting guides.
