About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and target\-driven Field Sales Executive to promote and sell solar insurance products to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting clients in the field, explaining insurance coverage for solar systems, and achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, field sales experience, and a basic understanding of solar energy products or insurance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers for solar insurance products.
- Conduct field visits to residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Explain policy benefits, coverage details, premium plans, and claim processes.
- Generate leads through direct marketing, referrals, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate with solar installation companies and channel partners.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare daily sales reports and customer feedback reports.
- Assist customers with documentation and policy issuance.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new insurance products.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in field sales, insurance sales, or solar industry sales.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel locally.
- Basic understanding of insurance products and solar systems.
- Good interpersonal and customer handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and mobile CRM applications is an advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in solar energy, renewable energy, or insurance sector.
- Self\-motivated and target\-oriented personality.
- Ability to build long\-term client relationships.
- Valid driving license preferred.
