We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on\-site technical support, maintenance, and installation of equipment at client locations. - Install, commission, and maintain equipment at customer sites in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on\-site, providing timely solutions to minimise downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of equipment.
- Provide training and technical support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Document service activities accurately, including detailed reports of repairs, inspections, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain a professional relationship with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols during all service activities and site visits.
- Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, or electronic engineering roles, preferably within a field service environment.
- Strong problem\-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple site visits effectively.
- Nice\-to\-have skills include familiarity with specific equipment or systems relevant to the industry, as well as proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
