Kelington Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the finance and accounting function in India. The role will be responsible for establishing and managing financial systems, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, supporting business growth, and coordinating with the parent company, Kelington Engineering (S) Pte Ltd.
*Key Responsibilities**
Implement and manage accounting systems and financial processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Oversee day\-to\-day finance and accounting operations and ensure timely reporting to the parent company.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and monitor actual performance against budget targets.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
Analyze financial performance, profitability, and business trends, and provide recommendations to management.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Maintain accurate accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Monitor business expenses and implement cost\-control and cost\-saving initiatives.
Support strategic planning, business expansion, and investment decisions.
Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and company policies.
Lead, mentor, and supervise finance and accounting team members.
Support loan applications, banking facilities, and financial documentation as required.
Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and statutory filings.
*Requirements**
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial analysis.
Good understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and financial reporting.
Experience in handling internal and external audits.
Strong knowledge of cash flow management and working capital control.
Ability to prepare and present management reports and financial insights.
Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop finance teams.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
