LSEG’s ticker symbol is LSEG. **About This Role** **Job Title** Manager of Workforce Planning \& Forecasting **Role Purpose** This role is accountable for delivering a best‑in‑class workforce planning and forecasting capability for select CIOs within Engineering. also support various initiatives that enable driving accurate, forward‑looking, and sustainable workforce decisions, including via use of advanced analytics, automation and AI capabilities, to move workforce planning to become predictive, decision‑led insight function. **Key Responsibilities** **Workforce Planning \& Forecasting** * Drive end‑to‑end workforce planning and forecasting framework, covering headcount, cost, skills, and workforce mix (internal / external) for given CIOs * Support in development of short‑, medium‑, and long‑term forecasts aligned to financial plans, operating models, and strategic objectives. * Support in translating business strategy, productivity assumptions, and organizational change into robust workforce scenarios and affordability assessments. * Partner closely with Finance, HR, and business leaders to ensure workforce plans are credible, actionable, and sustainable **Data Integration \& Architecture** * Support initiatives of integration of Finance and HR data (e.g. payroll, headcount, positions, costs, contractors, skills) to create a single, trusted workforce data model. * Define data standards, governance, and quality controls to enable reliable forecasting and analytics. **AI \& Advanced Analytics** * Leverage AI, machine learning, and LLM‑based models to enhance forecasting accuracy, scenario modelling, and decision support. * Identify and implement AI use cases such as: Predictive workforce demand and supply modelling * Scenario and sensitivity analysis (e.g. productivity, automation, AI impact) **Decision Support \& Storytelling** * Provide clear, concise insights that help leaders understand trade‑offs, risks, and implications of workforce decisions. * Support the Tower in moving the organization from reporting “what changed” to anticipating what will happen next. * Present workforce insights in a way that enables confident, early decision‑making. **Skills \& Experience** **Essential** * Experience in workforce planning, FP\&A, people analytics, or financial analytics * Good understanding of headcount, workforce cost drivers, and organizational design. * Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, decision‑oriented storytelling for senior leaders. * Critical thinking and ability to take on complex problems in a structured manner. * Demonstrates big picture – building sustainable models for future use * Team player – working closely with Stakeholders and wider finance teams. * Adopt and build a range of financial models and metrics to aid business decision\-making. * Commit to excellence while leading with trust, openness, inclusivity and humility. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills **Desirable** * Hands‑on experience with AI or LLM‑based solutions in planning, analytics, or decision support. * Experience working with modern planning platforms, data lakes, or cloud analytics environments. * Exposure to scenario modelling related to automation, productivity, or workforce transformation. **What Success Looks Like** * Workforce forecasts are credible, predictive, and trusted across Engineering leadership, Finance, and HR. * Leaders use workforce insights to make earlier, better decisions, with fewer late surprises. * AI‑enabled tools become part of the normal operating rhythm for workforce planning. * Workforce planning shifts from a manual, reactive exercise to a strategic, forward‑looking capability.
