Finance Specialist

We are looking for a highly analytical Finance Specialist who will support financial operations with a focus on government accounting procedures, compliance, and reporting. The role requires familiarity with government financial rules, documentation standards, and audit processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure systematic recording of all financial transactions including receipts, expenditures, and advances in line with government financial rules
• Prepare financial reports tracking fund utilisation, expenditure status, and budget variance for submission to the relevant authorities.
• Assist in the preparation and consolidation of project budgets, expenditure plans, and cash\-flow projections to support effective financial planning and decision\-making.
• Design and implement internal financial controls to ensure compliance with applicable statutory obligations including GST, TDS, and treasury procedures, while preventing irregularities or misappropriation.
• Coordinate and facilitate periodic internal and statutory audits, prepare responses to audit observations, and ensure timely settlement of all audit objections with proper documentation.
• Validate and reconcile financial data from implementing agencies and field\-level sources, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to strengthen financial accountability.
• Build the financial management capacity of project staff by providing guidance on accounting standards, reporting formats, and government financial procedures, and act as a reference point for all finance\-related queries.

• *Required Skills \& Qualification**

• Experience in government accounting systems, procedures, or fund\-based accounting.
• Experience in financial modelling and forecasting techniques
• CA / MBA (Finance) with minimum 2 years of experience in government funded scheme/programme
• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) with minimum 5 years of experience in government funded scheme/programme

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
