• *About the Role**

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our Chartered Accountancy (CA) firm. The candidate will maintain financial records, assist with statutory compliance, prepare financial statements, and support clients with accounting and taxation requirements.

• *Key Responsibilities**

● Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.

● Handle day\-to\-day accounting, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.

● Assist with GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliance activities.

● Support income tax return preparation and filing for individuals and businesses.

● Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts.

● Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.

● Use accounting software such as Tally ERP 9, Tally Prime, or other relevant tools.

● Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documents for statutory and internal audits.

● Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, bills, and other financial records.

● Coordinate with clients to collect financial documents and resolve accounting\-related queries.

● Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and compliance tasks.

• *Required Qualifications**

● Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B. Com) or an equivalent qualification.

● CA Intermediate qualified candidate preferred.

● Relevant experience in accounting, taxation, or working with a CA firm is preferred.

● Knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and basic accounting principles.

● Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.

● Understanding of accounting standards and statutory compliance requirements.
