• *POSITION OVERVIEW**

The candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to perform all detailed accounting functions and analysis for several areas of the Corporate division. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for providing accounting assistance in support of all facets of the closing and reporting process, streamlining procedures. This individual will also be involved in several ad\-hoc projects.

• *ESSENTIAL DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES**
• ---------------------------------------

• Journal processing in SAP for US GAAP books
• Maintain and close general ledger monthly for various Corporate departments for India Business
• Perform daily transactional activity and record the transactions in the General ledger
• Analysis vendor invoices and process upload files for payment release
• Responsible for maintenance of Fixed Asset Register and performing Asset Accounting activities in SAP Fixed Assets Module
• Compute depreciation as per India GAAP and India tax rules
• Analyze and prepare journal entries and accruals
• Prepare monthly detail reconciliations and account analysis, including bank reconciliations, payroll reconciliations and manger other key accounts reconciliations. Submit the Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline tool
• Transactional review and ensure appropriate Withholding taxes deduction and GST
• Assist in Preparation of Financial statements and necessary audit work papers and assist in the audit queries
• Assist in preparation of documents required for handling tax audits (Direct and Indirect), Internal audit and any other enquiry

• *EXPERIENCE, SKILLS \& KNOWLEDGE**
• ----------------------------------

• Should have over all 2 to 7 years of experience
• B Com, M Com or any Finance discipline, semi qualified CAs preferred
• Experience with SAP ECC, Ariba and Concur
• Experience in SAP Asset Accounting (Fixed Asset module) will be added advantage
• Results orientated, flexible, resourceful, and self\-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be detail oriented and experienced in follow\-through and completion of projects
• Good time\-management skills, and ability to adhere to month\-end close timelines
• Proficiency in Excel and other applications
