Firmware Developer - EV Charging Controller

• *Role overview**

Develop, integrate, debug and validate firmware for our EV charging controller. This is a hands\-on engineering role focused on implementing features, solving technical problems and delivering clean, tested and maintainable code in collaboration with the Lead Firmware Engineer.

• *Key responsibilities**

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for controller functions, communications, diagnostics and hardware interfaces.
• Implement software modules based on agreed architecture and technical requirements.
• Debug firmware and hardware–software integration issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Write unit tests, support integration testing and fix defects identified during validation and field trials.
• Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and external specialists during prototype bring\-up, system integration and product development.

• *Desired profile**

• 3–5 years of hands\-on embedded firmware development experience.
• Any experience with EV charging / IoT cloud connected system would be an advantage.
• Good programming skills in C/C\+\+; experience with embedded Linux is preferred.
• Familiarity with device interfaces such as UART, SPI, I²C, GPIO, CAN or Ethernet, as relevant to the product.
• Experience with debugging tools, Git, build systems and software testing.
• Practical, self\-driven engineer who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies and taking ownership of assigned deliverables.

Pay: ₹500,000\.00 \- ₹800,000\.00 per year
