Job Description
The Foundry Office Manager is responsible for coordinating all administrative, planning, documentation, and communication activities of the foundry. The role ensures smooth coordination between production, purchase, stores, quality, dispatch, accounts, and management while maintaining accurate records and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning
Prepare daily and weekly production plans.
Issue work orders and monitor production progress.
Coordinate with the shop floor to ensure production targets are met.
- Documentation
Maintain production records, melting logs, inspection reports, and dispatch documents.
Keep records of raw material consumption and finished goods.
Maintain ISO and quality management documentation.
- Inventory Coordination
Coordinate with stores for raw material availability.
Monitor stock levels of scrap, alloys, consumables, and finished castings.
Prepare inventory and consumption reports.
- Purchase Coordination
Raise purchase requisitions.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Dispatch Coordination
Prepare delivery challans, invoices, packing lists, and transport documents.
Coordinate dispatch schedules with customers and transporters.
Maintain purchase records and documentation.
- Reporting
Prepare daily production reports.
Generate monthly production, rejection, inventory, and productivity reports.
Present reports to management.
- Customer \& Vendor Communication
Handle customer inquiries related to production status and dispatch.
Coordinate with vendors regarding materials and deliveries.
- Office Administration
Maintain employee attendance and leave records.
Organize meetings and prepare minutes.
Maintain office files and correspondence.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
3–8 years of experience in a manufacturing or foundry office.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of foundry production processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP software.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Basic understanding of inventory management and production planning.
Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹30,000\.00 per month
