Full Stack Developer (MERN)

• *About the role**

Build and scale consumer and enterprise web applications in a full\-time Software Engineering role, contributing from architecture and API design through UI implementation and production releases.

• *Key responsibilities**

\- Architect, build and maintain high\-performance frontend and backend applications.

\- Write clean, modular, tested code; participate in peer reviews and comprehensive testing.

\- Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver intuitive digital products.

\- Resolve architectural bottlenecks, improve responsiveness and developer workflows, and optimise CI/CD practices.

\- Evaluate emerging technologies and share recommendations.

• *Requirements**

\- 5\+ years designing, developing and shipping production\-grade web applications in Agile teams.

\- Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency, including asynchronous programming and modern ECMAScript features.

\- Strong production experience with React, Next.js or Angular.

\- Scalable server\-side service and API development using Node.js, or solid secondary exposure to Java or .NET.

\- In\-depth knowledge of full\-stack architecture, RESTful APIs, routing, state management, relational/NoSQL databases, caching and security, including CORS, authentication and encryption.

\- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, DOM manipulation, browser rendering, SSL/TLS and web server configuration.

\- Strong written and verbal communication, proactive problem\-solving and teamwork.

\- Preferred: Next.js, Remix or Gatsby and SSG/SSR; headless or enterprise CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress or Sitefinity; AWS, Google Cloud or Azure; containerised or serverless deployments; GraphQL, Elasticsearch, distributed search or microservices patterns.
