• *About the Company**

We are a US\-headquartered distribution group developing our own ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system with an in\-house technology team based in Bangalore.

Our new ERP system will manage key business operations, including Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, and Payments. We are preparing to transition from our existing system to the new ERP in 2027\.

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and analytical **QA Tester / Junior Developer** who can ensure data accuracy, identify software issues, and contribute to the successful implementation of our ERP system. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in software testing and grow into a development role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of ERP modules, including Sales, Invoicing, Payments, Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounting.
• Validate business transactions and ensure accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data.
• Compare data between existing and new ERP systems using Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Identify, investigate, document, and report data mismatches, calculation errors, and software bugs.
• Prepare detailed bug reports and track issues using GitHub.
• Coordinate with developers, accountants, and department heads to understand business requirements.
• Retest software fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved.
• Assist in module\-wise testing, validation, and approval before ERP go\-live.
• After implementation, support bug fixing, automated testing, and end\-user support.
• Gradually contribute to application development and enhancement activities.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, or Software Development. Strong freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookup functions, data comparison, and reporting.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and database queries.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts, including:
• Debit and Credit
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Trial Balance
• Invoicing and Payments
• Basic programming knowledge in PHP (preferred), Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify even minor data discrepancies.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross\-functional teams.

Good to Have

• Experience testing ERP, accounting, inventory, or billing software.
• Familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, SAP Business One, Odoo, or QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of PHP Laravel framework.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Exposure to PHPUnit, Playwright, Selenium, or Postman.
• B.Com/BBA graduates with programming knowledge.
• B.E./B.Tech/MCA graduates with an understanding of accounting or business processes.
