Job Description: Sales Executive – Australian Furniture Brand

We are an Australian furniture brand specialising in premium, classic, solid wood, custom and design\-led furniture for residential and commercial spaces. Our customers are primarily based in Australia and include homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders and businesses looking for high\-quality furniture solutions.
We are looking for a proactive and well\-spoken Sales Executive based in India who can support our Australian sales operations remotely. The role will involve handling inbound customer enquiries, engaging with customers online, preparing BOQs/quotations, and coordinating closely with our sales team in Australia.
Role Overview
As a Sales Executive, you will play an important role in converting online and inbound enquiries into confirmed orders. All customer engagement will be handled remotely through calls, WhatsApp, email, video calls and online communication channels.
You will work in close coordination with the sales team in Australia to understand customer requirements, recommend suitable furniture products or custom solutions, prepare detailed BOQs, and support the sales process from enquiry to closure.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, good product understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to handle customers in a consultative and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
Remote Customer Handling \& Sales Support
1\. Handle inbound customer enquiries received through website, social media, WhatsApp, phone calls and other online channels.
2\. Engage remotely with Australian customers, architects, interior designers and business clients to understand their furniture requirements.
3\. Coordinate with the Australia\-based sales team for customer requirements, pricing, product availability, customization details and order confirmation.
4\. Explain product details, materials, sizes, finishes, pricing, timelines and customization possibilities.
5\. Recommend suitable products and furniture solutions based on customer needs, space, style and budget.
6\. Follow up with leads regularly and professionally to move them towards order confirmation.
7\. Support the sales process from first enquiry to quotation, negotiation, confirmation and handover to the Australia operations/sales team.
BOQ \& Quotation Preparation
1\. Prepare clear and detailed BOQs, quotations and product proposals based on customer requirements.
2\. Coordinate with the Australia sales team to confirm pricing, specifications, customization details, lead times and delivery\-related information.
3\. Maintain accuracy in product dimensions, quantities, finishes, fabrics, polish options and other order details.
4\. Update quotations and BOQs as per customer feedback or changes in requirements.
Customer Relationship \& Coordination
1\. Maintain professional and timely remote communication with customers throughout the sales journey.
2\. Build strong relationships with homeowners, architects, interior designers and repeat clients.
3\. Coordinate with sales, design, production, logistics and management teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly documented and communicated.
4\. Maintain proper records of customer interactions, enquiries, quotations, follow\-ups and order status.
5\. Ensure smooth communication between India\-based sales support and the Australia\-based customer\-facing team.
Product Knowledge
1\. Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the company’s furniture range, materials, wood types, finishes, fabrics, design styles and customization options.
2\. Stay updated on Australian furniture trends, interior styles, customer preferences and competitor offerings.
3\. Understand the difference between standard products, customized products and made\-to\-order furniture.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
1\. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
2\. Confident phone, WhatsApp, email and video\-call communication skills.
3\. Experience in sales, customer service, retail, furniture, interiors, architecture products, building materials, home décor or related industries.
4\. Ability to understand customer requirements and suggest practical furniture solutions remotely.
5\. Basic understanding of furniture, interior design, measurements and product specifications.
6\. Good attention to detail, especially while preparing BOQs and quotations.
7\. Strong follow\-up discipline and ability to manage multiple enquiries at the same time.
8\. Proactive, self\-motivated and target\-oriented attitude.
9\. Comfortable working with online tools, spreadsheets, WhatsApp Business, CRM or similar systems.
10\. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not mandatory for the right candidate.
Preferred Experience
1\. Prior experience in furniture sales, interior products, modular furniture, home décor, architecture/interior design firms, or luxury retail.
2\. Experience in preparing quotations, estimates, BOQs or product proposals.
3\. Ability to read basic layouts, measurements or customer\-provided room details will be an advantage.
4\. Experience dealing with architects, interior designers or premium customers will be preferred.
5\. Experience working with international clients or remote sales teams will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
