Internship Summary
As a Game Development Intern, you will work with the development team to design, develop, and optimize 2D and 3D games for PC, mobile, and web platforms. You will gain practical experience in game programming, multiplayer systems, 3D asset integration, character animation, environment creation, and gameplay mechanics.
You will work on real\-world projects such as shooting games, battle royale games, simulation games, multiplayer games, open\-world environments, and action\-based gaming systems using modern technologies including Unity, Unreal Engine, MERN Stack, Blender, and cloud\-based backend systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesGame Development
- Develop 2D and 3D games using Unity and Unreal Engine.
- Implement gameplay mechanics, controls, character movement, and physics systems.
- Work on multiplayer and battleground\-style game concepts.
- Create responsive and optimized gaming experiences.
- Develop gaming UI systems such as health bars, inventory systems, maps, and scoreboards.
Multiplayer \& Backend Integration
- Assist in developing multiplayer gaming systems.
- Work with MERN Stack for backend game services and dashboards.
- Integrate APIs, databases, authentication systems, and real\-time communication.
- Implement matchmaking, leaderboard, and player profile systems.
3D Modeling \& Asset Design
- Create and modify 3D models, environments, and game assets.
- Design battleground maps, weapons, characters, vehicles, and props.
- Work with animation systems, rigging, and texture optimization.
- Optimize models and assets for better performance.
Graphics \& Animation
- Integrate visual effects, particle systems, and lighting.
- Work on character animation and motion systems.
- Assist in creating realistic gaming environments and immersive experiences.
Testing \& Optimization
- Debug gameplay issues and fix bugs.
- Optimize game performance for different devices and platforms.
- Test game mechanics, collision systems, and multiplayer synchronization.
Collaboration \& Learning
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and 3D artists.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for game concepts and features.
- Learn advanced game development workflows and production pipelines.
Required Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Understanding of 2D and 3D game development concepts.
- Knowledge of C\#, C\+\+, or Blueprint scripting.
- Familiarity with MERN Stack basics:

- Basic understanding of multiplayer gaming concepts.
- Knowledge of Blender, Maya, or other 3D modeling tools.

- Knowledge of AI enemy systems and NPC behaviors.
- Understanding of physics systems and collision detection.
- Experience with Firebase or cloud backend services.
- Knowledge of AR/VR gaming is a plus.
- Understanding of shaders, lighting, and post\-processing effects.
- Experience with terrain and environment creation.
