We are launching a new 35\-key boutique hotel near Pawna Lake, Lonavala. The property features a banquet space, an all\-day dining restaurant, and a specialty café, positioned as a premium leisure getaway for Mumbai\-Pune weekend travelers. We aim to create a design\-forward, service\-driven destination that blends lake views with curated F\&B experiences.
\*Role Summary\*
We are seeking an experienced, hands\-on \*General Manager\* to lead the hotel from pre\-opening through stabilization. You will own P\&L, set service culture, build the core team, and drive revenue across rooms, banquet, and F\&B outlets. This is a critical leadership role requiring deep operational expertise and a strong local network.
\*Key Responsibilities\*
\*Pre\-Opening: 0\-6 months\*
1\. \*Project \& Licensing\*: Coordinate with owners, architects, and consultants to track project timelines. Drive licenses, compliance, and brand SOP implementation.
2\. \*Team Building\*: Recruit, hire, and train all HODs and key staff across front office, housekeeping, F\&B, kitchen, sales, and engineering.
3\. \*Systems Setup\*: Select and implement PMS, POS, accounting, and inventory systems. Establish SOPs, brand standards, and service flow for all outlets.
4\. \*Sales \& Marketing\*: Develop pre\-opening sales plan. Build relationships with travel agents, wedding planners, corporates in Mumbai\-Pune region. Oversee website, OTAs, and digital launch.
\*Post\-Opening: Ongoing\*
1\. \*Operations\*: Oversee daily operations of 35 rooms, banquet, restaurant, and café. Ensure exceptional guest experience and consistent quality.
2\. \*P\&L Management\*: Full responsibility for topline and bottom\-line. Manage budgets, costs, pricing, and yield for rooms \+ F\&B.
3\. \*Revenue \& Marketing\*: Drive occupancy, ARR, banquet sales, and café footfalls. Build local partnerships and repeat clientele from Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Navi Mumbai.
4\. \*Team Leadership\*: Lead 40\-50 team members. Create a strong service culture, reduce attrition, and develop HODs.
5\. \*Owner Reporting\*: MIS, variance analysis, and monthly reviews with promoters.
\*Requirements\*
1\. \*Experience\*: Minimum \*7 years\* as General Manager with independent P\&L responsibility.
2\. \*Pre\-Opening\*: Must have handled at least 1 full pre\-opening for a 30\+ room hotel/resort.
3\. \*Background\*: Strong exposure to leisure resorts, boutique hotels, or banquet\-driven properties. F\&B expertise is a major plus.
4\. \*Location\*: Must be willing to relocate to Lonavala or be based in \*Lonavala, Pune, Mumbai, Thane, or Navi Mumbai\* with ability to travel daily during pre\-opening.
5\. \*Skills\*: Excellent leadership, financial acumen, sales mindset, and hands\-on problem solving. Strong network with Mumbai\-Pune travel trade preferred.
6\. \*Education\*: Hotel Management degree preferred.
