• *Job Summary**

• Seeking a results\-oriented General Manager (GM) to manage day\-to\-day business operations, coordinate cross\-functional teams, improve operational efficiency, and achieve business targets.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the interior, fit\-out, modular furniture, construction, architecture, or allied industries, with a practical understanding of sales, design coordination, procurement, production, project execution, customer management, and financial performance.
• The General Manager will translate management strategies into operational plans, ensure accountability across departments, and drive timely project delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitable business growth.

• *Key Responsibilities**

1\. Business Operations \& Planning

• Implement business plans, operational strategies, and management directives.
• Coordinate sales, design, procurement, production, project execution, installation, and customer relations.
• Establish departmental targets, operational procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.

2\. Sales \& Business Development Coordination

• Monitor sales performance, order bookings, lead conversion, and revenue targets.
• Support the sales team in developing new business opportunities and maintaining client relationships.
• Coordinate with architects, builders, developers, consultants, and project clients.
• Review quotations, project proposals, order status, and customer commitments.

3\. Project Execution \& Delivery

• Monitor project schedules, execution progress, installation activities, and handover timelines.
• Ensure effective coordination between design, production, procurement, site teams, and customers.
• Track project costs, material availability, execution quality, and variations.
• Resolve project delays, resource constraints, and customer escalations.

4\. Financial \& Commercial Management

• Monitor departmental budgets, operating expenses, project profitability, and cost control.
• Coordinate with finance teams regarding billing, collections, outstanding payments, and cash flow requirements.
• Review project estimates, material costs, wastage, and margin performance.
• Implement measures to improve resource utilization and operational profitability.

5\. Team Management \& Performance Monitoring

• Supervise department heads and ensure accountability for agreed business targets.
• Establish departmental KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and monitor action plans.
• Support manpower planning, recruitment coordination, employee productivity, and training.
• Encourage collaboration, discipline, and a customer\-focused working culture.

6\. Customer Satisfaction \& Quality

• Ensure customer requirements are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor complaints, service requests, installation quality, and post\-project support.
• Establish effective escalation and resolution mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.

MIS \& Management Reporting

• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Monitor sales, project execution, procurement, productivity, collections, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyse performance deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide management with timely updates on business performance, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications \& Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Approximately 8–12\+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant managerial experience.
• Previous experience in interior fit\-out, modular interiors, construction, architecture, or building materials is preferred.
• Strong understanding of project execution, sales coordination, procurement, costing, and operational management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross\-functional teams, meet deadlines, and improve business performance.
• Strong problem\-solving, communication, planning, and reporting skills.

• Monthly revenue and order\-booking achievement.
• Project completion within approved timelines.
• Project gross margin and cost control.
