Gold Loan Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and explain gold loan products, terms, interest rates, and repayment options.
• Assess and verify gold jewellery for purity and weight as per company guidelines and authorized procedures.
• Process gold loan applications and complete customer KYC documentation.
• Ensure accurate valuation, loan eligibility calculation, and documentation.
• Verify customer details and supporting documents before loan disbursement.
• Coordinate with the Branch Manager for loan approvals and disbursements.
• Maintain proper records of gold packets, loan documents, and customer transactions.
• Ensure the safe custody and security of pledged gold as per company policies.
• Follow up with customers regarding repayments, renewals, and overdue accounts.
• Adhere to company policies, audit requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Provide quality customer service and support branch business targets.
• Assist in daily branch operations and prepare reports as required.
